“The Golf & Country Club Directory” is distributed through exclusive private and semi private
country clubs via clubhouses, golf shops and fitness centers. These guides are available
to their membership and guests year round as well as during tournaments, social
and charity events.
Premium positions, such as covers, centerfold pages, opposite tournaments and club
information are available on a limited basis using an 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” format. Standard
ad formats range from 1/4, 1/2 and full page sizes. This way the guide is uncluttered
and attractive. A limited number of each type of services and products are featured
insuring each advertiser receives the maximum exposure possible.
“The Golf & Country Club Directory” contains informational articles on training tips, tournament
schedules, golf course layouts and other features relating to the country club lifestyle.

Our Production Department is Macintosh based and can accept digital files in many
different formats. Please provide hard-copy of ads supplied on disk or cd whenever
possible.

MAC Pagemaker 6.5 Files
|
Please have fonts included and also include or embed any photos and artwork. (IBM
can be accepted but fonts will be replaced.)

Adobe Illustrator 9 Files
|
Please make font outlines and include or embed any photos and artwork.
|
|
PDF Files
|
We can accept .pdf files if formatted correctly. Ad sizes must be correct as above.
Please save compatible with Acrobat 4 or 5.
Compression must be set to a resolution of 150 dpi or higher OR use the “PRINT”
or "PRESS" option in Acrobat Distiller's job options.

.BPS (Raster), .JPG AND .TIF Files
|
We can accept .eps, .jpg and .tif if high resolution, 300dpi at 100%. Please use
for photos only or for text only. (If photos and text appear in the same file, text
prints grayscale and will appear "fuzzy" because the format will halftone when printed.)
We cannot be responsible for look of ad when photos and text are combined in this
format.

Web Based Graphics
|
Artwork on the web such as .gifs are not acceptable. These are normally low resolution,
(72 dpi) and will pixilate or appear broken up when printed.

Emailing Your Files
|
Digital files (ads, photos and art) can be emailed to us at: adcopy@sunshinesfl.com.

If you should send us artwork in a different format than above we will do our best
to use the digital file, but please know ahead of time that your file may need to
be recreated by our staff, so please include a 600•1200 dpi laser hardcopy of your
digital file .
